Sisterhood Events & Socials

2018 Formal

What does sisterhood mean to you?

Angelica Freeman

Senior

"Sisterhood means to me that even if we don't like one another in the moment or sisters are arguing, we will always have each others backs and will always love each other endlessly."

Amy West

Junior

"Delta Zeta has done a lot for me. It has brought me good and bad times, it's brought love, strength, and most importantly, my sisters. It has given me my beyond perfect Big, and my Little, whom I adore. It has taught me so much, things that can only be taught through DZ. I am more than proud to be a part of something so much bigger than myself. Delta Zeta means all of these things and more to me. I am so blessed to be able to call myself a Delta Zeta."

Juanita Guzman

Junior

"During recruitment, I knew absolutely no one and everyone was complete strangers. At first I was so nervous and didn't know what I was getting myself into. I thought to myself "am I really ever going to get to know all these girls?" A little while into DZ I started making friends with all the sisters. Here I am, one year later, and I have met the best of friends possible. I could not imagine living life without some of my sisters. I truly found my life long friends in Delta Zeta and never in my life would I have imagined I would gain them through a sorority. I truly care for everyone and would do anything for any of my sisters. The best thing is knowing my sisters would do the same for me. Delta Zeta has given me the best of friends, taught me leadership and responsibility, and has become a part of my heart forever."
